Grand Champion

A son of Gamekeeper, ‘Wil’ enjoyed a great show career and has sired many champions, obedience-titled dogs and Guide Dogs for the Blind. He was the top Golden Retriever in the National Dog Competition for 1997, 1998 and 1999.

Wil is Goldtreve’s first Grand Champion, and we remain very proud of his achievements.

‘Kyva’

Grand Champion

Kyva acquitted himself well in the show ring as a multiple Best in Show All Breeds winner. He has also proved himself an excellent sire — producing conformation champions, an obedience champion, obedience-titled dogs, Guide Dogs for the Blind and Pets as Therapy dogs. Certainly a very versatile dog.

‘Storm’

Aust Supreme Grand Ch Goldtreve Storm Keeper (AI)

Supreme Champion

A son of Gamekeeper by the frozen semen method, Storm was titled at 12 months and 3 days with a Best Exhibit in Group, followed the very next day by Best Exhibit in Show.

He gained his Supreme Championship title at 2 years 8 months, with yet another Best Exhibit in Show.

Eng Ch Camrose Cabus Christopher

England's top sire of all time

Goldtreve is the only kennel that holds semen from Eng Ch Camrose Cabus Christopher, England’s top sire of all time. Our Goldens are line-bred to Christopher and combine the best outcross bloodlines — the only kennel with a direct link to this great dog.

Christopher was the top sire in the U.K. with 26 title holders, and 50 worldwide. He won 41 Challenge Certificates, 2 Best in Show and 4 Reserve Best in Show awards, and 8 Group awards, all at championship shows. He was runner-up to Top Dog 1974 and crowned these achievements by winning the Contest of Champions.

A quiet word about a Goldtreve puppy

Goldtreve is a small, select kennel in the Hills District of Sydney. Our Golden Retrievers and Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen are reared with love in our home and go to carefully chosen families. Litters are planned occasionally, so we welcome early enquiries from those who would like to be considered.

Parents are fully health-tested and every puppy leaves us registered, vaccinated, vet-checked and microchipped.
